As the founder of Fashion Week Columbus and former board president and executive director until June 2023, he reshaped the city’s fashion landscape, turning it into a thriving hub for emerging talent. His passion led to the creation of the Columbus Fashion Council, an organization dedicated to empowering designers and providing the resources they need to succeed.

Through Thomas’s leadership, countless Ohio-based fashion designers have launched their careers, gaining the visibility and support necessary to thrive in an ever-competitive industry. His impact goes beyond the runway, opening doors for models to sign with regional and international agencies and positioning Columbus as a true fashion destination.

But it wasn’t just about fashion—it was about building a community. Thomas brought together volunteers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, creating an ecosystem where makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, photographers, and production crews could flourish. His philanthropic spirit made just as much of an impact. Thomas spearheaded fundraising efforts to provide scholarships for fashion students at Columbus College of Art & Design, giving the next generation of designers the foundation to build their dreams.

Under his leadership, Columbus became more than just a city with fashion talent—it became a stage. Fashion Week Columbus and other high-profile events elevated the city's reputation, solidifying its status as one of the most fashion-forward cities in the nation.
